March Series - The Inspiration Behind DetroitIntern.com

I know you are thinking this no-name guy might be one arrogant so and so to write about himself and expect others to read it. I don't think I am, but I am an attorney by trade, so maybe. You know, that profession where we draft indentures, argue motions, and sometimes dread phone calls knowing vacation plans are probably going out a window.

However, I am also an entrepreneur at heart, maybe not in mind, but definitely at heart. I decided to share my reasoning and inspiration for creating DetroitIntern.com. It will come in a series of three to four blog entries during the month of March. I hope to use my experiences and humor to encourage as we all strive for success when everything seems to be crumbling around us.

My tentative titles of the entries include:

1. What was I thinking to help people?
2. Where? Detroit? You must be crazy!
3. The everlasting headache.

See the region's latest news, sports, and business headlines. For all of those that love the Detroit Crain's Business News Feed, fear not; we plan on bringing that feature back very soon.

DetroitIntern.com Sales Commission Team Members Wanted!

DetroitIntern.com wants you to be a part of our Sales Commission Team. This is an independent contractor position only. Currently, we are looking for team members to sell advertising space on DetroitIntern.com. We will be introducing other products and services that you can choose to promote throughout the year.

Each Member will earn at least 15% and up to 20% commission for the Member's total amount of generated and recognized sales.

This is a great, easy way to subsidize your income or even promote your own company, event, organization, or group and make money doing it! There is a minimum time commitment and paperwork requirement. Once you have completed a sale, we will handle any troubleshooting or related matters. Your job is done!

Requirements:

You must be 18 years or over. Some sales experience and graduate students or young professionals preferred. Undergraduate students that are a part of our Campus Representative Program can participate as well.
